1. Definitions & General
1.1. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of goods from The MUUM Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our website themuum.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1.2. Our company is registered in the Faroe Islands. Our address, contact email, and other details are given at the end of this document.
1.3. We sell internationally, with a primary focus on European customers. We operate on a print-on-demand basis in partnership with Printful. Products are printed / produced when ordered, and shipped from Printful’s fulfillment centers located in various countries.

3. Eligibility, Age & Consumer Status
3.1. You confirm you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3.2. You are entering into a contract with a trader (us), and consumer protection laws apply when you buy from us.
4. Products, Pricing & Currencies
4.1. All products are printed / fulfilled on demand via Printful. The images, designs, colors etc. may slightly differ from what is shown on screen due to the nature of printing, materials, etc.
4.2. Prices are listed in various currencies. Default currency: Euro (EUR). Other currencies offered: Danish Krone (DKK), Polish Zloty (PLN), British Pound (GBP), US Dollar (USD), and others within EU Member States as may be made available on the site.
4.3. Prices include VAT where required by law (especially for EU countries). If VAT is not applicable, or a reduced rate applies, it will be clearly stated at checkout.
4.4. Customs duties, import taxes, or other charges applicable upon import into your country are not included in the price. These are your responsibility, unless otherwise stated.
4.5. We reserve the right to change product prices, shipping costs, and other charges at any time without prior notice. Such changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.
5. Payment Methods
5.1. Acceptable payment methods are: Credit / Debit Card, PayPal.
5.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of order (unless we explicitly state otherwise).
6. Fulfillment, Shipping & Delivery
6.1. After you place an order, production with Printful typically takes 2–5 business days.
6.2. Once printed, shipping time depends on the destination, availability of carrier services, fulfillment location etc. For Europe, shipping times usually fall within 5–20 business days depending on shipping option etc.
6.3. We will try to give you an estimated delivery date at checkout, but this is not a guarantee. Delays may happen. If your order has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, please contact us. We will investigate.
6.4. Orders may be shipped in multiple packages if items are fulfilled from different fulfillment centers or have different packaging requirements.
6.5. Shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed in your cart once you enter your delivery address.
7. Returns, Refunds & Faulty Products
7.1. You have the right to cancel / return your order within 14 days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive. The refund will include all standard costs of the product, but you will be responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
7.2. To initiate a return, contact us at themuum@themuum.com within 14 days. You must return the goods in a similar condition as received, unused, with all tags etc., unless the product is faulty.
7.3. If a product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover all costs (replacement, repair or full refund as you prefer), including return shipping.
7.4. Refunds will be processed promptly after we receive and examine the returned items, in any case within the period required by applicable law (in EU typically within 14 days from receipt of returned goods).
7.5. Certain types of products (e.g. custom-designed or personalized) may be exempt from returns if they cannot be re-sold, except where they are faulty.
8. Warranty / Legal Guarantee
8.1. In accordance with EU Directive 2019/771 (Sale of Goods Directive) and the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), customers in the EU are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee.
8.2. We ensure that all products comply with applicable safety standards. Where required, we will provide relevant product safety information in product descriptions.
9. VAT, Tax & Customs
9.1. VAT is included for EU orders where required. For non-EU orders, or orders shipped from outside the EU, VAT and import duties may be due at the customer’s border. These are the customer’s responsibility.
9.2. We are not responsible for customs delays, fees, or any extra taxes levied by the destination country.
10. Intellectual Property / Copyright
10.1. All content on the site (designs, images, text, logos, graphics etc.) belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use them except as permitted in order to receive and use the purchased product.
10.2. Any design you submit, upload or request to be printed must not infringe the rights of any third party (copyright, trademark, etc.). You represent that you have the rights to use any text, images, or other content you submit. If legal claims arise from your upload / request, you agree to indemnify us.
11. Cancellation & Modification of Orders
11.1. Because products are made on demand, once you place an order it begins production quickly. This means that once production has started, your order cannot generally be modified or cancelled. If you wish to cancel or modify, contact us as soon as possible; we will do our best, but cannot guarantee.
11.2. If production has not yet begun and cancellation is accepted, we will issue a full refund.
11.3. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where:
- the payment could not be processed or verified,
- fraudulent activity is suspected,
- the product is unavailable,
- an error occurred in the product description or pricing.
If we cancel your order, we will promptly inform you and issue a full refund of any payments received.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1. We shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising from your purchase, except as required by law.
12.2. Our maximum liability shall in no event exceed the purchase price paid by you for the affected goods.
12.3. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights under applicable consumer protection laws which cannot be excluded or limited.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Faroe Islands.
13.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Faroe Islands (unless local laws require otherwise).
14. Data Protection & Privacy
14.1. We will collect and process your personal data in order to fulfill your orders, process payments, handle returns, communicate with you, and meet legal obligations.
14.2. We comply with EU GDPR (and relevant local data protection laws) for customers in the EU; details of what data we collect, how we process it, how long we retain it, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. Miscellaneous
15.1. Geolocation: We may use geolocation tools to automatically detect your location. Based on this, the website may adjust the default currency and language to provide you with a localized shopping experience. You may change these settings manually at any time.
15.2. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be deemed severed, and the remaining Terms shall continue in full force.
15.3. No waiver: If we do not enforce a provision at any time, that does not mean we waive our right to enforce it later.
15.4. Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the website with the date is the current version. Continued use of the site / placing orders after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
